Critical opinion is divided on Greydon Clark’s 1988 low-budget horror show, UNINVITED.
Writing in The Gorehound’s Guide to Splatter Films of the 1980s, Scott Aaron Stine lists the film’s many perceived faults: “An awful hand-puppet style critter, shoddy gore, model-in-a-bathtub miniatures, and the worst overdubbing of cat noises to grace a bad horror film.”
In complete contrast, American Genre Film Archive celebrates the film’s iconic cacophony of mayhem: “This is exceptional 1980s trash-horror chaos that is only gifted to our planet once or twice every millennium.”
