SYNTHETIC FLESH! was a tribute to more than 100 years of monster makeup FX and the artists who built them from wax, latex, and lube.

To celebrate our 3rd birthday, the tenth sensational season of BAR TRASH was WE ARE TRASH!, a fan-made mixtape of cult and chaotic cinema.

Season eight of Bar Trash was BANNED!, an uncensored season of the so-called ‘Video Nasties’ from the 1980s moral panic that swept the UK.

Season seven of Bar Trash was called ENCORE!!! (aka ‘More of the bloody same’), a celebration of two sensational years at Genesis Cinema.

Our sixth Bar Trash season at Genesis Cinema was VHS USA, a blockbuster celebration of 1980s video culture. Featuring shot-on-video ‘trashterpieces’, Empire rental legends, and vintage VHS playback.

Our fifth Bar Trash season returned to TRASH PLANET, a swirling cesspit of eco-horror where man’s toxic stupidity forces Mother Nature to bite back…

Our fourth Bar Trash season unleashed a menagerie of MONSTER MAYHEM! in a programme where size really does matter…

Our third Bar Trash season, TRASH OR TREASURE?, resurrected one of the most controversial movie lists of all time, The Golden Turkey Awards.
