BAR TRASH celebrates our 3rd year and 10th sensational season with WE ARE TRASH!, a fan-made mixtape of cult and chaotic cinema (14 May to 20 Aug 2025).

For the final MYSTERY FILM in our season, Token Homo has chosen an exploitation film directed by a woman to illustrate themes we’ve been talking about all season long: the gatekeeping of senior roles in film production by men since the end of the silent era.

Some of our MYSTERY FILMS have been pulled from deep in the archives — or almost lost forever — but this more recent, mainstream release (relatively speaking…) helps us tell a different story… What will it be? As always, you’ll just have to join us to find out.
