The films of Jean-Claude Van Damme have long-been on our audience request list at BAR TRASH, so we’re especially geeked-out to serve this double helping of balletic mayhem from vintage VHS. CYBORG (1989) is set in the far future (actually the 21^st Century…) where American civilisation is dead and violent anarchy rules (sound familiar?!). Pearl Prophet (Dayle Haddon) — a robotic cyborg — holds the key to curing the cursed plague that is destroying humanity. Jean-Claude Van Damme is the reluctant hero who must battle evil warriors — the Flesh Pirates! — to save the day. 

TIMECOP (1994) takes us back to the future (actually 2004…) where time travel is not only a reality but an opportunity for criminals to alter the past for profit and power. Jean-Claude Van Damme stars as Max Walker, the toughest member of the elite Time Enforcement Commission created to enforce one simple rule: No One Goes Back. Can Walker resist the impulse to change his own future and battle an evil that threatens to rip apart the very fabric of time itself?

That’s two back-to-back cult classics full of splits and kicks for less than the price of one ticket elsewhere 😉
