Doors will open 30 minutes before your event’s advertised start time, leaving plenty of time to get comfortable and place any orders. Ridley Scott’s LEGEND (1985) is one of the most popular titles on our BAR TRASH audience request cards, often suggested using four simple words: “Tim Curry is God”.  And you can’t get enough of him:  previously, we’ve sold out two screenings of THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW (1975) at Genesis Cinema and CLUE (1985) was our fastest selling title so far at Beer Merchants Tap. If John Waters is the ‘Pope of Trash’, then perhaps Tim Curry is our patron saint?

LEGEND is rightly famous for its incredibly rich set and production design, a pre celebrity teeth Tom Cruise, and a story as transparent as a pair of fairy wings… The whole affair is brought to riotous life by Curry’s towering performance amidst a series of jaw-dropping makeup effects from industry icon Rob Bottin (THE THING). Curry appears covered head-to-toe in lobster-red prosthetics as Darkness, adorned by a horned headpiece that was heavier than an office typewriter.
