This time, we’re showing BASKET CASE in all its gory glory from a stunning 4K digital restoration from the original film negatives, completed with the cooperation of writer/director, Frank Henenlotter.

BASKET CASE is the quintessential 42nd Street film, shot on 16mm around the legendary area of New York (before it was gentrified…) and with all the character and squalor you’d expect. The film went on to play midnight screenings for over two-and-a-half years and spawned two sequels. It is widely regarded as one of the most celebrated cult movies of all time.
