BANNED! – BAR TRASH 100: MYSTERY FILM at Genesis Cinema (Weds 30 Oct 2024)
BAR TRASH 100: MYSTERY FILM
We are celebrating our 100th BAR TRASH event with a MYSTERY FILM and we’ll have gifts for everyone in attendance. As is BAR TRASH tradition, there will also be plenty of (vegan) cake… It’s our way of saying ‘thank you’ for backing us.
BAR TRASH mystery film shows are always incredibly popular… To date, we have unveiled a long-lost South Korean kaijū film, SPACE MONSTER WANGMAGWI (1967), a killer cat on a cruise ship, UNINVITED (1987), the utterly ludicrous INVASION OF THE BLOOD FARMERS (1967), and an epic zombie apocalypse shot on Super 8, THE DEAD NEXT DOOR (1989).
What celluloid atrocity will we unveil this time…? All we can say is that it will be one of the Video Nasties… but which one…?
Polite warning: Our MYSTERY FILM contains scenes of “strong bloody violence, horror, and nudity” (BBFC) and other scenes of an offensive nature. We apologise in advance for any upset this may cause. We are showing our MYSTERY FILM fully uncensored with subtitles from the best available digital source. No refunds if you’ve already seen it.
/// BAR TRASH is a celebration of cult and curious cinema, hosted by queer film fanatic, Token Homo.
