QUEER HORROR NIGHTS presents A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 2: FREDDY’S REVENGE (1985)
Loose Willis, Co Kendrah, and Token Homo hosted a midnight ‘solidarity’ screening of A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 2: FREDDY’S REVENGE at Rio Cinema for Halloween [Friday 31 Oct 2025]. These are the photographs of our amazing cast.
Loose Willis’ leather-clad hosting and live commentary throughout energised the entire auditorium with radical joy from open to close, a master class in queer film re-appreciation as we totally made ELM STREET 2 our own (sins and all). Co Kendrah rose to the challenge of ‘exorcising’ the film’s homophobic DNA by transmuting its narrative about destructive queer monstrosity into our community’s unapologetically fierce super power: together, we rise. Token Homo introduced the film, and then chucked 4DFX confetti, smoke, ‘snakes’, and freedom flags around before getting his fat white arse whipped on stage in a loving act of solidarity to ELM STREET’s kinky Coach Schneider… We had a blast! xx
